Bistro Mateo offers Spanish-Filipino cuisines. It’s former name is Mario’s Kitchen. This is where I dropped for breakfast before heading to Infanta, Quezon. I got me churros –err, churros for breakfast may not meet the daily needed vitamins and minerals…but a little chocolate treat cannot be that bad sometimes ^.^
Churros is a spanish fried doughnut dipped in hot chocolate that is usually eaten during breakfast. It’s rigid sides is due it being nozzled through a star-shaped churera.
Churros are best consumed hot and fresh.
Tamarind Shake – my first time to taste it…and not bad at all.
Eggs Benedicto
poached eggs and harm served on toasted bread with special sauce, olives, and square fries on the side.
order this if you are lonely and you need to see a smiling face.
It’s too early for me to have a shake, but the tea, took the chill away.
Bistro Mateo is visible if you enter Tiendesitas through the hypermart entrance. The sign is big enough but the building facade blends in with the background. Just follow the sign and you will be alright ^.^
