Zabadani means core of goodness. The restaurant’s full name is Zabadani Layered Coffee because it is famous for serving coffee in layers. But tonight, Kuya Faust opted for its tasty finger food.

Pita Cheesestick is cheese stick with a twist. Instead of using the usual “lumpia” wrapper, Zabadini used pita dough and sprinkled it with papprica.

Zabadini Green Salad. It has olives, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, cheese, ground dates, a pinch of salt, sprinkled with thyme and a little bit of cayenne pepper for that spicy taste.

Bruschetta – french bread, tomatoes, tuna flakes, corned beef, gogonzola, garlic chili, black olives, mozarella cheese, honey, and white beans.
Kuya Faust ordered the ones with chicken toppings. But topping vary from smoked mussel, smoked scallop, baby clam, smoked oysters, or shrimp. A little thyme to bring the aromatic flavor in the cheese. This is priced around Php60.00
Revel Bar — no description needed. We love it! We loooove it!
we opted to sit on the carpet! and play with the pillows and eat our food on cool low tables. It’s like when you are a kid and you are playing with your food ^.^

Hi Leah, Zabadini has a Persian ring to it but the food looks more Italian, I’m a little confused of their cuisine although I’m secretly hoping it’s Persian coz We’ve been looking for a new Persian resto here in Davao.
it’s persian. maybe it’s just the type of food we ordered and the photos i took
they have pita bread and all and the resto is halal certified ^.^
Love it! <3 hehe. Kaon ta didto usab!
yeppers ^.^ kaon ta usab! when. gusto ko makatilaw sa ilang layered coffee
Really nice post. We have to go here too. I hate you Leah Valle, I better diet and exercise now because when I come home you have made it virtually impossible. Asian trips used to be healthy, but nooooooooooo, not anymore, not with you. Ahh..Life is good. (I don’t really hate you…just saying..)
LOL ^.^

Hi Ms. Blogger, Alhamdulillah, salamat sa pagblog about Zabadani (ow, btw, it’s Zabadani not zabadini
, aramaic term pod diay ni siya)
Our food basically represent fave foods from the Islamic world, starting off with our Syrian Kebabs and Malfouf, Saudi Arabian Kabsa and Samboosak and Pita Shateerah, Egyptian Hamud, Mediterranean Bruschetta and Beef Roast, European Ribs and Squares and Turn-overs, Turkish Ayran, Arab and Italian Coffee, Fil-Syrian Steak and serving soon, inshaAllah are Maranaw-Malaysian Beef Rendang, Indian Chicken Biryani, Yemeni and Turkish Coffee.
Ultimately, we seek to promote HALAL food as the healthy option, after all it has now become a trillion-dollar industry in the west.
Thanks again, hope to see you on June 24, inshaAllah, it’s our 4th OPEN HOUSE where everything in the new menu are FREE.
